The cottage at Criffel was just what we needed for our weekend getaway. The rooms were cozy and had a homely feel. I loved having two bathrooms with both a shower and a bath. It made getting ready in the mornings a breeze! As someone who likes to take long baths, this was a real treat.
I guess if I had to pick something, I would say that the Wi-Fi signal was a bit weak. But hey, I was there to unwind and disconnect, so it wasn't a big deal for me.

The location of the accommodation was convenient, with easy access to the town center and local attractions. The spacious house provided a comfortable stay, equipped with two fully equipped bathrooms. The large garden and games room were perfect for entertaining children. The host was helpful and readily available.
The bus service in the area was not reliable, making transportation difficult for older guests or those without a car.

Stayed here for a week and felt right at home. The bed linen and towels were top-notch, just like in a fancy hotel. Loved that it was self-catering and had a well-equipped kitchen. Location was great, not too far from town and close to a fantastic park for the kids. Plus, the host was super helpful and always just a phone call or text away. best holiday home we've stayed in by far!
The walk back from the town center was a bit of a trek, especially for older folks. The rain shower was a bit temperamental, but it didn't bother us since we didn't use it.

Criffel Cottage gave me cozy vibes with its comfy beds and warm decor. I loved having 2 bathrooms—super handy for a backpacker like me. The shower was amazing and the bathtub was perfect for a long soak after a day of hiking. It felt like a home away from home.
While everything was great, I personally didn't enjoy the view from my room. But hey, that's just me.
